It’s been really nice to be back at the office and it’s allowed me to pursue some more aggressive goals for myself that flew to the back burner when I was at home (and… because the first year with a new baby evaporates at a slightly higher rate than regular time).
Finally getting certified in Adobe Commerce reminded me what it felt like to accomplish a goal after working really really hard. Here’s what’s next.
- Shopify Certification
- Refresh HTML and CSS courses
- Take a js course
- Dip feet into React or Vue
- Use the above to make something cool (I’m a fan of skillshare.com for browsing practical ideas!)
- Learn more about APIs
- Get comfortable using GitHub
- Learn more about color theory
- Dig into the future of Mobile First concepts
- Take a course in PHP, SQL
- Learn more about Redis
- Learn more about GraphQL
- (Technical list goes on, moving on –)
- Travel to Paris again
- Travel to Vancouver BC again
- Travel to Ottawa (for the first time!)
- Take a girls trip to Palm Springs
- Take another road trip down California
- Read 100 books in one calendar year
- Speak only in French for one weekend
- Finish one embroidery
- Run a 5k (again)
